The move earned Chicagoans free hot dogs at the Wieners Circle Tuesday. Johnson joked that he wanted to take off his shirt while his body still looked good.

Speculation began days in advance that Johnson would have his viral bare-chested moment. Back in late October, The Wieners Circle—a popular hot dog vendor in Chicago—posted to X that they would give away free hot dogs if Johnson goes “topless” in a locker room speech.

Speaking for the first time since his shirtless celebration, Ben Johnson called it a “spur of the moment” decision and said he wanted to bring the city of Chicago some excitement.
