After weeks of speculation, the college football world finally got word on Sunday that Ole Miss football coach Lane Kiffin would, in fact, be leaving the Rebels to take over at LSU.
Wilson Alexander of The Advocate reported that won't be the case for much longer, as Orgeron's final buyout payment of $426,000 will be paid out on Dec. 15. Still, LSU is paying out quite a significant amount of money for its coaching situation following its 7-5 season.
