4 Michigan counties now under Winter Storm Warnings, up to 12 inches of snow forecast
In West Michigan, the storm warning runs from noon today to 7 a.m. Tuesday. Anywhere between 6 to 12 inches of snow is forecast, depending on how these lake effect snowbands set up.
Strong wind gusts and heavy snow are possible in some parts of Michigan this week, prompting weather alerts for several areas of the state.
Dozens of flood alerts are in place for England and Wales. Forecasters predict 120mm of rain could fall in the highest ground of Wales' amber warning zone, while 20mm to 40mm is expected widely and up to 80mm is likely in hilly parts.
Heavy rain could cause disruption - including flooding - across north-west England on Monday and Tuesday. Met Office forecasters, external have issued a yellow warning, saying there is a risk some homes and businesses could be flooded and that public transport and power supplies could also be affected.
