More lake effect snow is coming to west and northern Michigan and the UP Monday evening, Dec. 1, the National Weather Service forecasts.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Advisory from 3 p.m. Saturday through 10 a.m. Sunday for multiple counties in southeast Michigan.
Snow arrived as expected Saturday throughout the morning and early afternoon, causing some roads to turn a bit slushy during the day.
The metro Detroit will continue to be under a winter weather advisory until 10 a.m. Sunday, with snow flurries, possibly 2 inches of additional accumulation.
The big rivalry game weekend has arrived. The Michigan Wolverines are playing those other guys from down south, known as the Ohio State Buckeyes. Kickoff at the Big House is scheduled for noon, just before snow is expected to start at 1 p.m. in Ann Arbor, according to the National Weather Service in White Lake.

Later this afternoon and evening are expected to bring the heaviest snowfall and the worst conditions on the roads across a big part of Michigan.
